THE BOULDER CHAMBER CHORALE
Timothy Snyder, DirectorThe Boulder Chamber Chorale furthers the mission of the Chorale by providing an opportunity for interested members to learn, study and perform choral works composed for small ensemble. Selected by audition each year in August, members of the Chamber Chorale are full and enthusiastic singing members of the Boulder Concert Chorale who meet regularly for additional rehearsal time beyond normally scheduled Chorale rehearsals. Auditions are open only to those who have sung with the Boulder Concert Chorale for 1 season. The Chamber Chorale performs a varied repertoire of works for small ensemble ranging from Renaissance polyphony and Baroque chamber music to works by contemporary composers.
Chamber Chorale rehearsals are at Atonement Lutheran Church on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 to 7:15, after which the Chamber Chorale joins the Boulder Concert Chorale and rehearses until 9:30. For details and dress rehearsals, see the Membership Calendar.
Interested Boulder Concert Chorale members, both new and returning, are required to audition for the Boulder Chamber Chorale each year in August. The auditions are designed to be friendly, casual and painless.
