On behalf of the members of the Boulder Chorale, I welcome you to our web site. We are truly a community chorus. Among our 150 members you will find computer programmers, social workers, editors, teachers, nurses, psychotherapists, astrologers, professors, doctors, secretaries, librarians, a veterinarian, a dentist, butchers, bakers, candle stick makers and many other professionals and businessmen and women.
We range from young couples and new mothers to grandmothers and grandfathers; from students and those new to the workforce to part-and full-time retirees. What we share is a love for music and a desire to sing beautifully for our audiences.
The Boulder Chorale performs major works by classical composers as well as folk, spiritual and other musical styles. Some of our concerts are collaborations with major front range orchestras.
The Boulder Chorale is composed of three main ensembles:
The Concert Chorale, a large (100+) auditioned ensemble of mixed voices, the Chamber Chorale, an auditioned forty voice subgroup of the Concert Chorale, and the Women's Chorale, which specializes in music for treble voices.
The current season will also see the birth of a small (8-16 members) a' cappella group which will perform as an outreach ensemble.
We’d love to have you “sample our wares!” Our concert schedule can be found here
